Just 40 minutes from the airport, is the Lagoa - Ferragudo area: Ferragudo is a quaint fishing village which is unspoilt by tourism, has all your needs for a self catering holiday. There is a lovely square with cafe´s bars and restaurants, a bank, post office, small supermarkets, fishmarket, bakers, butchers & chemist. The apartments are a five minute walk to the peaceful Angrinha beach and another 5 minutes stroll to the larger beach of Praia Grande where you can soak up the sun and enjoy a drink or lunch at one of the beach bars. It is only 2km from Portimão, where you can take boat trips and jeep safaris.You can also visit Praia de Rocha where the clubs and bars stay open to the early hours, easily reached by taxi (€5-6).

Fly into Faro airport - Ferragudo Apartments are 40 minutes drive from the airport. Cheap flights available from Easyjet.co.uk or Monarch airlines. Car hire available, Airport collection can be arranged, Taxi transfers Faro- Ferragudo cost around €55 each way.
